Canon CEE “Megatank Your World” promotion Terms & Conditions
1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases of the products listed below/attached (the “Promotional Products”) within Malta from authorized partners between 02.02.2026 and 30.04.2026 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in Malta (“Participant”).
1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.4. All products must be purchased within Malta and must have been supplied and distributed to retailers by Canon CEE GmbH (“Canon”) or Canon group companies located in the EEA. Please check with your retailer that this is the case to help avoid disappointment. Internet stores must display a registered/postal address in Malta.
1.5. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product within Malta, during the Promotional Period AND submit a valid claim online between 02.02.2026 and 15.05.2026.
2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including specifying valid EEA product serial numbers) a claim form online, at https://www.canon.com.mt/. Participants will need to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form copies of their till receipts, or order confirmations for internet purchases as well as an image of the serial number and EAN code taken from the product's packaging. Participants will receive within 48 hours an email confirming that their claim has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours after the request has been processed, please contact us via email: info@canon.mt.
2.3. Participants who are registered as Canon Club Members either at the time of purchasing a Promotional Product or at the point of submitting a valid cashback claim within the Promotional Period will be eligible to receive only the Canon Club Members Cashback amounts as indicated in Part 8 (column “Cashback amount for Canon Club Members” of the table of Promotional Items) of this Terms and Conditions.
2.4. In case the participant isn’t a member of Canon Club, or submits invalid Canon Club number, as described in the clause 2.3 of this Terms and Conditions, the participant is still eligible to receive a standard cashback amount specified in the Part 8 (column “Cashback Amount” of the table of Promotional Items). However, such participants couldn’t claim cashback specified for Canon Club Members (column “Cashback amount for Canon Club Members” of the table of Promotional Items).
2.5. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.
2.6. Canon will not process any claims received after the closing date for receipt of claims of 15.05.2026. Canon will not process claims which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.
2.7. Only one claim per Promotional Product purchased may be made.
2.8. Claims by businesses or individuals who make bulk purchases (being more than 6 Promotional Products during the Promotional Period, other than where the relevant products are comprised in kits or bundles as described in clause 1.1) will not be eligible to enter this Promotion.
2.9. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion.
3. CASHBACK
3.1. Participants will receive Cashback in the amounts shown for purchases of Promotional Products.
3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for a direct IBAN transfer payment to the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.
3.3. Canon will endeavor to transfer within 28 days of receipt of a complete and valid claim.
3.4. Where a Participant fails to select one of the currencies offered on the claim form, one may be allocated at Canon’s absolute discretion.
3.5. Only one IBAN payment will be issued per valid claim.
3.6. If you are Maltese VAT registered and you receive a cashback, it may reduce the taxable value of your purchase and so you may need to reduce your input tax accordingly.
3.7. Any taxes, levies, or duties imposed on or applicable to the Cashback shall be borne by the Participant, and Canon does not accept any liability in this regard.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon CEE GmbH, Am Europlatz 2, 1120 Vienna, Austria.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
5.2. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. DATA
6.1. Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Benamic, IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland for the purpose of administering this Promotion and, if applicable, for marketing purposes – in cases when Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
6.2. The personal data collected from Participants is subject to the Canon Consumer Data Privacy Policy http://www.canon.mt/privacy-policy/.
7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Austrian courts.
